It’s amazing how “Let’s go for a walk” can turn into the most memorable travel experiences.
Seeking dinner, or stomach lining, last night we asked the Oasis Palace bar staff for cheap and nearby dinner advice. We were pointed to Patio San Eloy. Situated on the it’s namesake street, Calle San Eloy, we found the big sign (hard to miss) and walked into chaos.
We were handed a menu and quickly selected three montaditos, translated to ridiculously tasty and fresh rolls. Highly recommend the pollo con tortillas y salsa picante (chicken with tortillas and spicy sauce). Actually they all look pretty good and each are under three euro.
You can’t pass up the plato de gambol (shrimps) and half bottle of white wine for 10 euro.
So the food is good, the price is backpacker friendly but what makes this place as popular as it is has to be…
